Improv for Tweens & Teens

Improv for Tweens & Teens

20.00

In these monthly workshops, tweens and teens will learn the basics of improv - group mind, "yes and", and scene work - while developing team building skills, gaining confidence, and, most importantly, having fun!

The monthly workshop model allows students with busy schedules to attend when it's convenient. Each month we'll reinforce the basics and also take a deeper look at a specific aspect of improv - like creating characters or environments, long form vs short form, listening and responding honestly - so that every month students will get a different experience while continuing to hone their improv skills.

This workshop is designed for students in grades 6 through 9, but because everyone learns at a different pace, and because the make up of the workshop attendance will vary from month to month, there's wiggle room on either side of that range.
